The ABSolu® platform, equipped with Lumibird Medical’s exclusive linear UBM 50 MHz probe, provides unparalleled anatomical precision for Sulcus-To-Sulcus (STS) measurements—essential for accurate ICL sizing.

Unlike traditional White-to-White (WTW) measurements, STS examination offers a more reliable correlation with internal ocular anatomy. The linear UBM probe ensures perpendicular imaging of anterior segment structures, delivering superior definition of both sulcus and iridociliary angles compared to sectorial probe technologies.

UBM is an essential tool for precise ICL sizing; Unlike other imaging modalities, UBM allows us to visualize structures behind the iris, providing critical insights into the eye’s internal configuration.

With the combination of automatic STS measurement and DICOM connectivity, ABSolu® ensures a secure and seamless transfer of data to ICL Guru (REVAI platform). ICL Guru is a software tool used by refractive specialists to assist in the calculation and selection of the optimal size and power of ICLs.

ICL Guru is a clinical decision-support tool that enhances the precision of ICL sizing, vault prediction and stability. It plays a vital role in improving postoperative outcomes, especially in cases where standard WTW-based sizing is unreliable.

This new ABSolu® option was officially unveiled at the ESCRS Congress in Copenhagen and is available for purchase starting today.
